Met up with an old friend, XI yesterday and we caught the 830pm movie "Superman Returns" at Tiong Bahru Plaza GV.


^He got popcorns for me^ - but in the end he ate the most and finished the whole box^



The movie wasn't all that bad.
Some really cool scenes , although u might find certain part of the story plot seemed weird with many holes..
I rated the movie 8/10 coz Brandon Routh is so CHARMING !!! Shuai dai liaoz... He has such lovely eyes...

There are some things that I would never understand about superhero stories.
For one, why do they always have the same villain in story after story either as the main villain or as a willing aide to the main villain?
Superman has Lex Luthor, Batman has the Joker, the X-Men have Magneto, etc.

Do fans never get tired of seeing the same villains bugging and harassing the superheroes in the episode after episode? Haha !!
Do they never wonder that if their superhero is all he is chalked out to be, why he is not able to get rid of this villain for good? Ironic , aint it ???

Another thing find it funny is why can't other people recognise them ??
Clark Kent as Superman - does the addition of spectacles so change the facial appearance of a person that even someone close to them, like Lois Lane is to Superman, is unable to recognise them??? then this movie, his son able to recognise him..
Quite ridiculous to me...i kept discussing with XI on that and he also found it dumb haha..

The show was 2 1/2 hours
so at 1145pm, we then arrived @ this SQ pub near Cantonment place to have a drink as he has a bottle of Martell half balance at the pub.
It is kinda a KTV pub... quite cosy there.. could watch WC there as well...

Haha then i found someone very familar at the next table to ours.
He was that stranger (Dol"s friend) that sitted with us @ Dol's wedding..
However, he did not recognise me and i did not went up to him.
I got his fone number from Sue Ann and she scolded me boliaoz to go bother abt him..
Haha i m juz being courtesous lehhhh haha..!

It was after he left then i went to sms him lolx...
he replied 'oh he know liaoz...but he doesnt dare to look 2 me coz i was wif my bf hahaha. .'
I showed to KI and we both laffed...
Then i told him dat aint my bf , just an old buddy of mine, he then replied next time jio me go drink if he goes SQ again .. *pengz* then dun bother to reply le...but this noon he msged me again asking to jio the kakis out for drinks.. hehe i never reply then, coz my kakis wont go de lorz ..

Chatted, drinked with KI at the pub...we have so much to catch up with..
he wanna finish up the balance Martell as he doesnt want to drink the bottle for so many times.. it was his 4th time there to drink that bottle..he felt so paiseh lolx

Forced him to sing song for me... he kept thinking i m not feeling happy , wanna cheer me up so he dun wanna sing as he only sings sad song.. pengz.. but i seriously aint feeling down wat !!!!!
In the end, he still gave in to me and sang some songs..

Aiyoo then helped him to faster finish up the liquor till i went abit seh also.. but recovered soon later in 10 mins time... my recovery speed damn fast one lolx..

Stayed there till 330am...we were the last customers to ciaoz...
I think the people of the pub oso buay tahan us, can sat there for so long without spending a cent there... hahaa
Then, he suggested to take NR8 and we did.



He sent me home and to my surpise, i then realised it was almost 5+am le...wahsehz i long time never got home at such hour...
After i washed up, immediately knocked out.

Got up at 11am this morning then after brunch, i immediately proceeded to nap haha..super not enuff sleep. All i did today was to sleep and sleep .. Pig !

Ben Nan ren's prediction on yesterday's match came true but i din manage to bet for yest's match as i did not come across any betting stands...*sad*

Today FINAL MATCH, so juz now made the whole family drove me to the nearby betting stand after dinner to get the bets for today 's match...totally followed ben nan ren's predictions, i also dunno how to buy.. spent $30 on betting lolx.. parents said i m crazy !! Hope nan ren 's tips make me win $$ today haha !

Now thinking if i should watch the match later ?? Scare buay tahan at work tmr..
