++ *Countdown at Mount Faber* ++
Another year has passed by. Farewell to Year 2005 !
Hoping a new year.. a new beginning...!!! ^_^
(My photography not bad bahz hahaha lolx^ Managed to catch nice pics of the fireworks!!)
Only have 3 hours plus of sleep after nan ren's bday celebration then go for work...tot after work reached home could have a short nap..but unable to..as all kakis going to meet up at Harbourfront at 7pm..
So reached home, rest awhile..blogged then get ready for the event...
Super insufficient of sleep !! But however, was excited with the countdown which somehow kept me awake.
At 630pm , i left home to meet up with Val 1st at Queenstown MRT.. she still can be late for 10mins.. and Grr she managed to nap after work... !!
We rushed our way to Harbourfront, thinking we are going to be late for the so-called LAST shuttle bus to Mount Faber. In the end, kaoz tio bluffed by Maureen...simply dun need to rush de..she know people will tend to be LATE , but well oso good lar.. if not later really LATE le, we have to find way up to MT Faber le...
Finally by 730pm, all (Alex,Sue Ann, Jane, Harry, Min, Maureen, Val & Miself) turned up at the meeting place for the shuttle bus to MT Faber.
Boarded the shuttle bus to MT Faber and.....reached Jewel Box for
the SKY SYMPHONY COUNTDOWN !!

Once we arrived there, the place was so posh..atmosphere there was so romantic lolx..
Our seats were fantastic, we could catch the skyview and the sea view as well..Spectacular sia !!
The views were so BEAUTIFUL.. i kept wondering how nice able to view it with your loved ones..sure very memoriable de...

Still have few hours before the countdown, we went around the place to take photos..
We posed, we took pics.. we laff.. we keep thinking new posing patterns lolx...
Alex becames our photographer for 3 cameras hahaha..

After taking photos, we got tired and went back to our seats to rest...
thinking what should we do till 12am...
We played GAMES!! Who lost who DRINK lorz... AhVal obviously the one who couldnt hold liquor de.. 1st to SEH!
I lost twice, so penalty to drink twice... got a little HIGH but after having those finger foods, i got over the high feeling...
I was so so HUNGRY.. i din have time for dinner...
Everyone also were like buaya when the food came...hahaha..all snatched for the food.
We needed to order twice to satisfy our stomachs.

At 1130pm, people started to get ready for the countdown and the fireworks.
Everyone standby around our table and the decks infront of us...
As we were at such nice spot for the viewing, we weren't worried that we couldnt get to catch the views..
We only got ourselves and cameras ready by 1150pm.. hahah
At 1159pm....the DJ played the music and then everyone countdowned and shouted
'HAPPY NEW YEAR !!' .......
And at the same time , the GORGEOUS and BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED FIREWORKS
started right infront of US !!
Everyone then keep snapping n snapping n snapping at the fireworks with their cams, added with the "wow wow" from the crowds and us..
All wished to take down the short-lived beautiful sight.
The fireworks took place for ONLY 15 mins..
After 15 mins, everyone has ended.
We decided to leave then..
Initially, we intended to go for KTV from 2am to 6am..but then after that majority decided not to go for it le...
We waited at the lobby for the shuttle bus to fetch us back to Harbourfront.
A lot of people were already waiting for the bus.. so while waiting, we went around to take photos again...lolx
Around 15-20mins, one of the staffs came forward to us (we were still takng photos) , he asked us if we were waiting for the bus back... we replied yes..Then he added if we are keen to take the cable cars back to Harbourfront on the house by them...
We immediately opened big our eyes and without hesitation, we said
'Of Coz .. GREAT! Can take cable car !! hahaha'
He directed us for the cable car tower . everyone of us were so THRILLED !!!
It has been years everyone lasted taken the cable car!!
Sue Ann asked Min how come they so good to us..selected us..
Min replied her coz we were pretty mah hahahahaa.. Sue Ann got shocked by her reply wahaha ! So did I.... lolx
Well, though the cable car ride was only a short one.. the most 2 mins nia..
We quickly took pics in the cable car haha...
Once we arrived at Harbourfront, xpected going to hv prob getting transport home le..
Even the sms network got lag.. i got all sms replies damn damn slow.. some hours later then received...Haiz...
Thinking the taxi queue will be very long, we tot lobang Maureen's car out of Harbourfront to a place whereby easier to hail a cab... but.....Never expect the CAR QUEUE in the multi-storeys carpark was even WORSE... the cars at all levels are simply STUCKED and for many minutes, the cars were still not moving!!
After then, Val, Jane , Harry and Me decided to walk out to Harbourfront Taxi Stand, if not not sure going to be stucked in the carpark for how long...This Val was so relunctant, she was so lazy.She kept on grumbling following us. She gota follow coz i will be sharing the cab wif her hahaha... if not she gota go home herself hahahaa..
The queue at the stand without question sure long as well... so Jane & Harry decided to on-call for cabs...
After much trying to call the cab hotlines...we managed to get ourselves a cab...
Suay sia.. the taxi driver was so lor soh.. diam diam talk ...Val & me gota entertained him.
As Val stayed nearer, she alighted 1st...
She shook my hand in the cab
(meaning congrats that i going to tolerate the driver all the way to my home) ..

Got home around 2+am...that was how i hv spent for the NEW YEAR with my Kakis..
1st time we hv celebrated Xmas together.. 1st time we celebrated New year together!
This Val influenced me being superstitious...
She kept saying if things not done before new year, will bad luck or bring over to the new year again...
If never get to spend the new year with someone, is that going to be a bad start too?!
So scared of it.
Tot today still in time for it...
Haiz.. dunno.. maybe i getting paranoid coz of her saying ...
Dun wish to have unlucky and rocky year ahead...
