Went to catch the 12.30pm midnite show at Marina - King Kong Movie.
My Rating: 8/10
A 3 hours of riveting action movie , so make sure u go for the toilet 1st lolx.
We saw a lot of people in n out of the theatre during the middle of the movie..haha.
To think the show ended at 3.45am...
The adventures of the show ranging from being chased by many different species of dinosaurs, (I guessed many people are puzzled how come got dinosaurs appearing in the movie lolx... then one after another, being attacked by gigantic spiders or scorpios (or whatever it is that looks like it) and bats, and some kind of gigantic leeches (the movie seems to involve a lot of fat and clumsy giant creatures lolx lolx). They can give u goosebumps!!
And of coz about the love story between Ann Darrow and the shy and idealistic scriptwriter Jack Driscoll (Nan ren said he looked ugly while i felt not leh) .
Jack Driscoll never wanted to give up in saving the girl he loved...so sweet!
..And then to the tragically impossible inter-species love of
the King Kong and the Lead Actress(Ann Darrow).
The scary atmosphere is captivating and shocking but somehow without the slightest view of excessive blood or separated body parts. Just alot of skulls being seen throughout most parts of the show.
Last part summing up the movie was touching with the legendary line. "Oh no, it wasn't the airplanes that killed the beast. It was beauty killed the beast."
Poor King Kong.. sacrificed for the girl.. in the end he died.
So moral of the story is beware of love, love is blind! love can kill u haha..
Even King Kong can also fall in love haha..
So overall - This movie consists of actions, triller, horror, touching & heartwarming scenes..
quite worth watching ^_^
