++ -[..A Movie Nite..]- ++
Didn't have to work today(saturday) ...woken up at around 11+am.This siao laoda sms-ed me a few times super early in the morning, think from 8+am to 9+am..aiyOooo..but i was too sleepy to get up and reply him (-_-)Zzz
I replied him after i got up .. and he is even more siaoz without his internet *L*
Needed to cool my mind off for awhile so decided to go for a movie today....
Think have been some times since my last movie months ago...
The comedy movie i watched - "Guess Who"
About a black father having difficulty coming to terms with his daughter marrying a white guy.
In many ways, this father tried ways to break them up and making things difficult for the white guy who kept making attempt to make good impression but failed.
Eventually, of coz the father get to like this white guy and felt the love the white guy has for his daughter, he welcomed the white guy a part of his family.
A sweet ending!
Reviews after watching it :
1) The black father asked the white guy that he found that they are very different in many ways, different interests-nothing in common , backgrounds, how come his daughter will fall for him......The white guy replied it was actually the differences that make the other party a WHOLE coz he/she is not what you are...You are the another half of the other party too..
[So touching]
2) When a white and a black are an item , obviously will invited stares or insults from people, even from family.
But it is the love that holds them together.
So no matter how much & difficult the external obstacles they faced, it is the love for each other that makes the relationship go deeper & fear of losing.
3) The white guy asked the black father "What makes u able to tolerate a life with his wife for 25 years?"
The black father replied "She is always right"
The white guy "what? always right ? even she is wrong" ?
The black father replied again "Do you love her ? Do you want her " ? If u are, she is always right." -
[So sweet right ?! ]
But well.. this is just a movie... reality is still reality
Afterall, have an enjoyable movie nite today... ^_*
