At 11+am just before lunchtime, I was concentrating reading the details of an email, suddenly i felt my chair trembled.
The 1st thing that crossed my mind was who the hell was behind me shaking my chair so bloody long ??
At times, May or whoever loves to walk over to my workstation and shake my chair when they wanna talk to me..-.-""

Was about to turn my head to scold and then realised the whole workstation was also shaking uncontrollably!!!
Slowly u can feel the whole building was actually shaking !!
It was damn scary, i tell ya!!

Everyone then started to ask each other if they felt the building moving.
Many of us initially tot they themselves always felt the tremor or just felt giddy out of the sudden..
Everyone then started to feel worried and panic as our office is on the very TOP of the building...
Some wondered if coz of the building or somewhere out there having earthquake..

We looked out of the windows, and could clearly seen many people slowly evacuated out of the buildings...

As it was our lunchtime, we quickly left our office for our lunch...and when we got downstairs, the whole Cecil Street suddenly filled with people along the streets...!!!

DoL didnt feel it as she was in the Ladies..so she was kinda disappointed that she has missed to feel the tremor as we kept decribling how shaky the tremor was!
She was then indeed hoping for another tremor.. so bad of her lol











Since so many buildings have been evacuated, so many have early lunch , resulted us having problems getting seats for lunch.
Amoy was somehow flooded with diners...we have no choice landed overselves in a caferia we noticed bo si mi lang in there..

They all tried to call out to their family and initially all networks seemed to be down , then networks all busy..
They all got so worried not able to contact their loved ones sia.
I contacted my mum who was at home watching Hana Kimi and didnt know or feel anything abt it...
Sms my sis, she another one... didnt feel it too as she was out with client but she was also not allowed to go back office due to the evacuation of her building after been informed by her colleague LOL..
At that time, we were also hoping all phone lines and internet servers all went down so we all can go home le hahahaha !!

We met Zu outside the cafe, and all other colleagues were carrying their bags for lunch and they told us they have been asked to evacuate from the building till further notice to go back to the building..
We all kaoz !! why did we leave the office so early ?? We want our bags, Val said she wants her mp3 player and camera *faintz* haha i added i wan my Vision Zen LOL



At 1st, only a group in the cafe, slowly packed !!

Think this cafe dun usually hv many customers during lunchtime but today packed with evacuated earlier released lunch diners LOL..

So we hv to wait very long for the food to come...

All of us were just hoping able to go back home early ...LOL but well chance doesnt seemed so high thou..
Val said if could off work early, jio for mahjong *slapz forehead*

Then we got the news of the Sumatra earthquake from Min.
She in bugis felt it too.. and she added the tremble was quite bad there..

They were all so hong xing, they all wish to have another tremor..thinking if shake again, sure can go home early le..

To a certain extent. we were so excited and hoping that work can be over early but then of coz we thought of the tragic, pain and fear of the people in sumatra

In the end, we had almost 2 hours of lunch..and realised actually most of our colleagues have already went back to work LOL and we were actually still waiting for Zu to call us...

Walked back and seemed like everything has already gone back to order..
Many people have went back to work...

Just walked into office for less than 8 mins, alamak !!! the whole building shook again..
Scared the wits out of everyone.. !!!Din expect to feel it the 2nd time.. just din expect it!
We then realised this situation is going to be very bad,
The earthquake from Sumatra, Indonesia must be getting bad, if not why almost the whole Singapore could feel it.
And why management still dun let us go back!!???

Again looking out of the windows, people started to come out of their buildings and gathered downstairs..but we all din move..lazy bah haha

My HR then circulated an email out to all of us stating the building is safe and sound. There is not a need to evacuate..dun worry.
Most of us were kinda disappointed after reading it obviously..
My manager said unless they found cracks in the building, if not wont evacuated de..
If found cracks, abit too late liao bah -.-""

Then i surfed @ Yahoo news page and kept updating them what has happened and what was going on with the earthquake LOL.. Val said i changed job liao arh, becoming a reporter in the office haha...

Almost going to off work, suddenly the sky turned dark, some areas started to rain...
Life can be so unpredictable and abit scary ya?!
U just wont know what will happen tmr, what will happen next moment..

Malaysia refused to sell water to us, they kanna flood.
Indonesia refused and ban selling sand to us, they kanna earthquake..
The death toll seemed increasing every hour i checked online..Sighz..
Hmmz...what is actually installed for everyone next second ?!

Seriously, this is my 1st time feeling so strongly from the earthquake tremors.
Felt it twice somemore..
It is quite an unusual significant experience right?
The tremors seriously resulted in slight dizziness as well.

Just watched the news and realised so many areas in Singapore and Malaysia actually felt the tremors.
So imagined the situation in Sumatra at dat time...cfm damn bloody scary !!
So be blessed that we are living in such a country without natural disasters, although at times the weather in Singapore can be so frustrating haha!
But as compared, we are so bloody fortunate!!!
