++ **Lunar New Year** ++
First of all, i wanna wish everyone a Happy Lunar New Year !! And also good health =)

On the 1st day of Lunar New Year (yesterday) , 1st thing as usual was to get ready, dressed up and bai nian to my parents... sis & me gave them hongbaos while they oso gave us hongbaos.. like exchanging gifts hahaha...
Then the 1st place for visiting - my granny's place.
We had our brunch then went to my granny's neighbour place for another visit.
They are Vietnamese migrated to USA but they now resided in Singapore due to work.
We chatted about their CNY culture against ours..
We used oranges and they used papaya and watermelon =p
They offered us peppermint tea and some goodies from Vietnam..very special..
some couldnt find in SG one. eg preserved banana strips.
After then, we proceeded to Granduncle's place @ Telok Blangah Heights.
Got to meet up the new-born member of the family...Kaixun
He is just about few months old...

Granduncle is very sick, was too weak to greet us so he rested on bed..We were told he is diagnosed with diabetics few days ago after sending him to the doctor .He has been very unwell and in pain but he kept silent till unbearable then he voiced out.
Old folks just always wait till unbearable then voiced out..Aiyoo!
His health has seemed to deteriote as days passed...

Keane (Kaiyi) 's birthday is on 02 Feb so my uncle advance celebrated for him on the 1st day of CNY since all relatives were be present...
Keane kept guarding his bday presents ! He is really one BIG toys addict !
He is so into toys.. so u can imagine his home most of the things are TOYS !!!
He will request everyone to get him toys... Whenever he saw the eldest uncle (who always get toys for him) "Today got toy?" or "Why today u never bring toy for me?" hahaha.. really gei ta da bai !

Then...the next stop to other aunties & uncles place for visiting...
I was very tired..duno why.. whenever we got into the car to another place, i sure to dozed off.. my sis said i really like a PIG!! But i can't help it.. i just felt so sleepy Zzzzzz...
After all the visitings, it was almost 7pm...whole family were so exhausted but we need to have our dinner 1st before heading for home..
We have no idea where got stalls open.. or simply where got food.. haha..
We drove around and chin chai stopped at Boon Lay Market and had malay food for dinner..
Only malay stalls are opened during CNY ... Whole market like so deserted ...
Got home then watched some tv programmes and .... Zzzz le...
Chu Er
2nd day of CNY today.. always ntg much.. always whole relatives of dad's side will gather at one of the houses and celebrate.. So today was to one of the uncle's home who is just opposite blocks away from my home.
Parents went over in the noon.. i stayed home 1st, i wanna nap , i was feeling so so tired again... again which i dunno why but i didnt get to nap.. dunno wat i was doing... i lazed around till 645pm then walked over to my uncle's place for dinner cum lao yusheng...
Arrived there, saw the younger cousins were playing blackjacks... wrong should be gambling..=p that was the mini gambling den... the elder ones were playing mahjong ..that was the big gambling den hahaa..
I dun gamble, so i sat around in the hall and watched tv programme, jia CNY goodies and chatted with myaunties and uncles..
Still having cough but haha i bo hiew.. i am still eating alot of goodies and ba gua..=P
Val jio all kakis to Punggol for gathering cum visiting, i told her if others going, i go lorz..then she told me they will go around 10+ .. i was thinking initially aiyoo so late..but if they go, i go lorz..
Around 830pm, Sue Ann msged me if i really going.. Was kinda lazy so i replied her think not going le, how about her ? Then she told me she oso not going .. So i smsed Val telling her i not going le.. Wow she was so angry sia.. scolded me back vulgarily .. asking Sue Ann & me dun tok to her anymore ... *pengz* - I then smsed Sue Ann why she so angry.. she replied me haha dunno..

However i was still at my uncle's place , if i hv to go..still gota go home change etc...lazy sia.. Around 9pm every members have finally turned up.. it was time for LAO YUSHENG !!
After then...my sis, my bro-in-law and me walked home...

Every year the amount of Ang Baos getting lesser and lesser.. Value also went LOW sia... Pls give me more $$$$$ !!

++ CNY Eve Reunion Dinner ++
Today once i reached office, my manager announced if we have finished our work, we can go off early ... haha .. in the end she was the 1st one to leave at 12pm..Then i followed suit, i left office 5 mins after she left...i need to go saloon to get my hair washed.
And then meeting the 3 in Bugis for the FINAL CNY shopping.
Reached the saloon and quickly the stylist got my hair done.
Beside me was this girl playing gunbound with her laptop.. haha i almost pengz!!

After then , quickly rushed to Bugis to meet up with the rest.
I by hook or by crook must get a pair of shoes and bag.
Everyone of us were rushing for time, we MUST get everything & get home by 4pm!
From Seiyu to Bugis Village to OG... cheonged here and there like siao langs..
Heng i got to get the bag and shoes.. phewz !!
I even got 2 cosages...
Then faster rushed home as by 5pm needed to go Granny's place for reunion dinner.
Didnt really got to rest after i reached home, then need to go out again le -_-"

Got prawns, crabs, liver, abalones, chicken, noodles etc....
Tuan Nian till 8pm, our family headed for home.
My illness has got worsen from insufficient rest since last few days and from the ktv nite...chamz liaoz....just had medicine.. hope will feel better tmr...

++ +Sue Ann's Advance Bday Celebration+ ++
Happy Birthday To Sue Ann In Advance
As Sue Ann's Bday falls on the CNY "Chu San" , so we have to advance celebrate for her birthday today...
We celebrated @ Partyworld KTV in Chinatown today after work.
Actually it is not allowed to bring outside food into the KTV but after much persuasion to the waiter that we havent got our dinner and we were SO hungry , they allowed us to bring in our food
Sue Ann and Val then went Maxwell Market to packet chicken rice for us.. they also got fried oysters.. The food was SO yummy..not sure if we were too hungry or the food was really delicious lolx..

We sang, took plenty of pics & joked till 10pm...Around this timing, finally Sue Ann's bf arrived for the celebration..... so we start to cut the bday cake and open the presents we got for Sue Ann.
Before we give her the presents, Sue Ann kept guessing what we got for her and this pressurized us sia...
So when she opened up the presnts, we were so panic lolx..scared that she will directly give us a yuckz face...but somehow she din & said she really luv the presents.. dunno real or not ? lolx lolx..
Hope she REALLY love her presents... if not we all will be disappointed de worrr... lolx
The KTV ended at 11pm...then all headed for home as still need to work tmr..
Still need to do FINAL CNY shopping after work tmr.. omg!
I havent get my shoes and bag yet ! Really feeling time not enuff sia !

++ =Shopping in Orchard= ++
These few days have been so so so BUSY at work! All of us almost went bersak !!!Whenever CNY is coming, work in our dept like battlefield.. everyone was like in war!
So always looking forward to lunchtime, an hr moment of relief from stress....and hectic work!
Today during lunch Val's shoes torn halfway while we were all walking back office. Haha..
So....she....
...WENT BAREFOOTED back to office lolz!!!
Fortunately, i have a spare shoes in the office so let her wear 1st.
The problem is my shoes are too small for her.. causing blisters at her front area of her feet.
After work, we went Orchard for shopping.
We kept rushing for time to do our CNY shopping. So many still havent buy..
We also need to get Sue Ann's bday present by today...
As usual and expected, the place was crowded with people...

As Sue Ann was with us , we left Dol with her.. then Val & me went off together to get her presents.
We went to an electronic shop, getting a mp3 player for her..
At the shop, we kept bargaining every cent and dollar we can lolz..the seller also buay tahan us coz we just couldnt decide which model and design to get and kept bargaining...
We called up Jane & Min in the hope they could at least give us some advices which to get... but both replied "anything! up to u ! *slap forehead*.. No help at all !! ...However, after much hesitation and discussion, Val decided on one that is much more worthy and functionality despite the not so known brand =x
Then we went Taka Jewellery as Val wanted to get another gift individually for her..
Chose here and there till we almost went siao.. nice ones too ex... cheap one either too small or design is like shit ! Personally, i really feel the things there really cannot make it!!
We almost in the shop for more than 20 mins that Val finally decided on a pair of diamond earrings for her..
Sue ann & dOl kept calling us and chasing us to meet up with them.. we have spent almost more than an hour getting the presents and they have been loitering around Orchard waiting for us..

After getting the presents, along to way to go meet up with them at Wisma..
We walked past NYDC..then Val saw a row of CAKES.. she wanted to get for Hui..
So immediately she asked the staff to get her one..
Then i asked her "u dun need to ask price one arh ? then u get liaoz ???"
She then realised and got shocked.. haha she slapped her forehead and wanting to ask the staff.....but too bad the staff at the moment has already got for her and put in the box...
In the end, a small slice of the rum cake costed her $6 !!!!

Then...walking past those shops in tent along the street... Val wanted to get a pair of new shoes to replace my small shoes she was wearing.. so we stopped at a tent selling shoes and earrings..
She went to try out the shoes while i looked around the earrings....
Finally, she got herself a pair of shoes... and i got 3 pairs of cheap earrings , only $5 !!
But.... TOO BAD for her... the new pair of shoes oso made her feet pain with blisters hahahahaa..
In the end she has to wear back my shoes. =p hahahaha..
Met up wif Sue ann & doL...suddenly Sue Ann dun feel too well and felt her legs in pain.. so she decided not to join us to Far East Plaza and headed for home alone... she forever so weak one.. haiz.. wait here pain..wait there pain..really like lao Ah ma !!
Then 3 of us cheong all the way to Taka as Val wanna get liquid foundation from Bobby Brown.
Most of the time, we were rushing from one end to another end.. tiring man !!

Our last stop to Far East Plaza, most shops started to close le as it was already about 10pm
We quickly tried to browse around those shops that were still open.. and grabbed watever we can if we feel comfy with de...
I got 2 necklaces from Far East Plaza...one of them really too ex but aiyah i lazy to think and choose liaoz..
I still havent get my CNY shoes and bag... alamak !!!! Time is runing out !!
Val needed to rush home so she on-call cab as the taxi queue was TOO long !!
DoL and me headed home by MRT ...
When i got home, i found my room neatly packed by my Mum again...
And she again re-arranged my accessories.. i really like the organising of the accessories by her.....and also coz it was all in pink !! ...my mum so nice right..always spring cleaning for me hahaha....
Very tired le.. going to bed after taking flu panadol... still having mild running nose.

++ Shopping @ Bugis ++
Still feeling rather unwell.. throat still sore.. then having a bit of running nose.
Many people seemed to fall sick before CNY around me.. pengz.
Val suddenly took half day leave today to get her hair done for CNY plus some of her personal tasks to finish up before CNY.
So left everyone so busy at work.. or rather today dunno why so many calls and everyone simply got so frustrated.
Today is my manager's bday as well... the whole dept has chipped in and gave her a SK diamond necklace as her bday present.
I like the diamond necklace a lot.. simple and cheap.. really tempting to get one miself!!

After work, went Bugis with Sue Ann and Dol for some shopping.
We shopped as quickly as we can as all of us wanna rush home to watch the 9pm show.
Sue ann bought the most things - a Jeans, a top and a necklace...
Dol got the brown top she wanna get and i got miself a greenish grey top..
We only have 2 hrs to shop then all rushed home for the show....tmr then continue with the shopping again.. the very last day for shopping before CNY!!!
I wanna slap Ann Kok..bth her in the show sia lolx.
She really can 'ACT' in the show.. always lie and act ..arghz! Watched liaoz, blood boiled sia hahaha..
Mum has been so busy with the household chores for the CNY.. simply doing it non-stop.. aiyoo dunno what she wants sia.. cannot stay still... she just feel so many things not done..!
In the end, today she got her hand scalded by the iron coz she did too many things till she forgotten the iron was still HOT and then whole hand touched the heating plate !! Pengz.. really dunno what to say.. got hurt before CNY.. now her whole right hand so swollen and painful...!
Asked her stop doing le, she kept asking "then u do arh?" (-_-)"
To be frank, also paiseh lar.. my sis and i never do anything for CNY de..
spring cleaning oso on own room nia lolx..Most spring cleaning of whole house done by mum, then some tasks done by dad ...
2 useless daughters hahah..dun blame us lar.. we are pampered lorz =p

Been having sore throat since yesterday..the pain is so uncomfortable that i hv to get strepsils and chrysanthemum drink..Hope it will get well for CNY..
Dun wanna feel sick during CNY.
Ben nan ren has got sick too, hope he get well soon for CNY.
Everyone gota take extra care these few days before CNY..wanna get sick wait till after CNY bah hahahaa...

Thinking really not much time left to get my CNY clothings, very scare even at the very last day i still havent manage to get it..
So after work i decided to shop around Jurong Point before getting my dinner, see if i could get a top or so...
Haha within 20mins, i bought a pink skirt, 2 tops in pink and purple from Bega - total $101...well,at least get some standby 1st.
Guess this CNY most likely i am going to be in PINK.
Then i need to get new shoes , new accessories.... and a new bag to go with the clothings !!!

Ok i have actually got my hair PERMED for CNY !!
Colourings, semi-rebonding & digital perming , all costed me $290.
Thinking never really tried out before, give it a try - Life always must take up some challenges de mah... if dun like, the most rebonded back lorz..
Plus also wish to give people around me some surprises....always colour and rebond abit sianz mah...

Except for Val, from beginning diam diam 'insulted' my new hairstyle ..arghz.

Now i hoping after a few washes, the curls will loosen..that is the effect i want..
with a little smooth curls at the end..now it is still so 'FRESH CURLs'
Btw, i also think i wont have my hair permed for too long.. the most have it for 2-3 mths nia lolx..coz i dun wish to look older than someone hahahaa...
