Had dinner @ Dian Xiao Er for the 1st time.
Always wanna try it out but always see long queue..
today we were early for makan, so we dun hv to wait..

We ordered
* Herbal Roasted Duck - Nice !!! Thumbs Up!
* Soup of the day , Lotus Root Soup - Nice too!
* Ma Po Tofu - Delicious..and spicy ^^
* Sambal Kangkong - Yummy !!
Bill up to $50+.. considered ex ya ?!?


After then, we went Chinatown for the Light up ceremony...
The whole stretch of the roads were so crowded and packed with people !!

Outside Chinatown Point..

Actually, dun hv much CNY mood this year... partly due to the economic crisis i guess..
But once u stepped into Chinatown, you can slowly been influenced by the CNY mood!!

Watched Bedtime Stories...
Hmmz a simple comedy..still entertaining..
Would rate about 6/10 nachos for it!
Worth watchin if u juz wanna chill out on the weekends..

MY New year resolutions 2009 - in random order :

* Get married and have kids! Haha~!!!
* SAVE A LOTTTT OF MONEY! (HARDEST OF ALL !! LOLX)
* Clean up my untidy room and keep it in tidy form..it is getting more like a pig sty, the same goes for my bag...all always said my LV bag like rubbish bin !!Kaos!
* Stay safe and sound and do well in my job..
* Go for MORE holidays..
* Most importantly, to be HAPPY and HAPPIER day by day !!!

Some1 cravin for Tian Ji Porridge on Friday after work, so we headed to Geylang after work
Enjoyed it alot!!! Yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy !!!

Accidentally came across the website of Chong Pang BBQ Steamboat which was originally from Marina Bay.

Ever since got to know the closure of Marina Bay, and made a empty trip there once...
finally find out they have relocated to Turf City

Before heading for the BBQ Steamboat for dinner, we took the free shuttle bus from Clementi .
and explored the newly opened West Coast Plaza..
Well, still alot of empty shops...not much pple or things to see yet.
Still undergoin developing thou..



Not sure how to travel there by bus, we decided to take a cab there..
In the end, the cabfare almost $9+




A notice placed outside ,telling people they have relocated to Turf City from Marina Bay..


On weekends, $18 each..cheap rite ?
Got prawns, got crabs, yong tau fu, chicken wings, chicken meat , beef, assorted veges, varieties of cooked food etc!
and also inclusive of free flow of drinks....

We makaned for almost 3 hrs...
perspired, full....

Next time, advisable to bring wet tissues (thou they have a corner for you to wash ur hair) , but more convenient if you hv your own wet tissues
... and also hairband to tie up the hair LOL



Took the shuttle bus back to Clementi..

Then we took the mrt train to jalan @ Jurong Point
..He bought me my Nanako bolster ^^
yeah another Nanako to my collection...

After dinner and left SueAnn's place,

We arrived @ Clarke Quay - Lunar Asian Fusion Bar for the Xmas Countdown Party @ 10+pm..

The ambience was pretty good.

Every few hrs there's a live band to perform..

Truely an entertaining nite.

Xmas eve...
Heavy rain in the morning and i have to carry 3 bulky paper bags of Xmas gifts + carryin the umbrella to work!!!
Both hands almost wanna break le !!

At 12pm...the Company's Xmas Party began,


Our colour theme decided for our Dept this year is White/Gold but turned out ALL white except Val and May...
So we said we are the bridemaids and they are the bride and groom LOL

Our chairman started off with his speech.
He ensured that we would have our bonus this year but well, not sure how big the bonus would be also lorz..

Still we got our dept with $100 F&B Voucher

All the games etc took for almost 2 hours, majority of the people were already famished !!!
We could smell the food from the Big Conference Room but yet not allowed to start the buffet

After then,
Bursting the balloons and every1 started to grab the little papers from the ground to see if they have won anything ! haha









See! Dolly was so 'hardworking' till crawling on the floor to pick up as much papers from the floor!


Same applied to Jason & Zen but both got ntg haha!

Finally, at 230pm, FOOD TIME !!!
Val & m3 chiong all our way to the room when we sensed the game was almost finished!
Lucky we were about 5-6 places in the queue !!!

Kiasu hor hahaha!!!

Bo Bian, company really too many people lar... to queue for food, really take very long timmmeee...

This year the buffet is much better than last yr...
Much expensive too , as what we heard!

Got turkey, fish fillet, chicken, vege, prawns etc...

Stupid Nana has been telling me she kanna me for this year's dept gift xchange!
I kept scolding here as i dun like to know in advance , I WANT SURPRISE !!
I even warned her if it was her, i will beat her !!
But still i was thinking she should be most likely joking abt it !!

In the end, really turned out to be HER and she was really so frank !!
I beat her after i received the present !! haha!





Special wrapping ?? haha done by Yenting..coz the poohbear inside was too BIG to wrap
So she got a box from office and decorate it with her own way hahaha!!
The biggest gift of all !






Jane is nowhere to be found in the office.. so Val took place for her in the gift xchange..
but we dun allow her face to be shown in the photos haha!!
